Eleanor Gets a Sister

As you may have already read in Trina’s blog, she and Kris got greyhound tattoos. Looks like greyhounds tattoos are as addictive as the dogs themselves.

A commenter on my last blog entry gave a link to Green Tree Coffee which makes a greyhound-branded roast. A dollar from each bag goes to the Mobile Greyhound Adoption Center. Greyhounds and coffee. So I gave it a try in my French Press. Pretty tasty stuff. Anyone know of a greyhound microbrew?

Eleanor stayed with us a few weeks back. She was a bit shy at first, but warmed up quickly. She enjoyed her stay so much last time, she came back for more. This time she brought a new sister, Maisey (sp?).
Everyone chased after a stuffie that Kris threw.
Maisey, Jaime, and Stella showing three possible greyhound running poses.

Jaime loves running the yard with stuffies. Looks like she’s heading for the end zone.
Stanley intercepted the football and celebrates by hopping around the yard.
Eleanor says, ‘Play with me, Play with me’! I think she really enjoys having a little sister to play with.
Eleanor strutting around the yard. Look how cute I am!
Maisey uses a stuffie to help her balance on one foot.
Stella admires how Maisey balances herself at an angle on two feet. I think Maisey may have taken gymnastic or ballet classes as part of her track training.

  1. That is one of the most impressive games of back yard football I've ever seen. It's awesome to see a shy pup come out of her shell or maybe she just needed someone to boss around ;)

  3. Greyhound football and gymnastics! Fantastic! We had looked at the coffee from the comments on your recent blog entry, but since we use a Senseo we just admired the pictures. D'oh! We forgot about our french press...great idea!
