Last Hurrah!

Our house went on the market last weekend, and by this weekend, we had a signed offer for full asking price. Did not expect it to go that quickly.
Before we got the carpet replaced and listed the house, we had one last get-together. Trina came up with her kids and boarders. Nerice came with her kids. That made a total of 16 dogs in the house. Always seems to turn out that way.
There never seem to be enough dog beds for everyone.
After smoking for 7 hours on the Big Green Egg, the spareribs were ready.
Nerice also has a Canon 7D with some nice lenses. I tested out a couple. I love how close you can get with the 100mm macro.
Abby is always happy to pose for a shot.
Petey tries to hypnotize with his cuteness.
Petey personally tests to see if the ribs are ‘fall off the bone’ good.
Diego says, ‘save some for me’.
But then comes under Kevin’s spell and completely forgets about the ribs.
Cali: Sorry Shiloh, I’m not giving up my spot.
While everyone else settled in after a few minutes, Petey was still going strong.
Stella, would you like a Petey of your own?
Greyhounds are napping. Petey is eviscerating the orange gorilla.
We have had some good times at this house, butI’m sure the kids will be happy when this whole move is over, so they can start a new routine and settle in.

  3. Moving is definitely stressful! Congrats on getting the house sold so quickly, though. That must be a relief!

Petey cracks me up! What a character. I bet Stella would like to have a Petey of her own!

  5. Holy cow that looks like sooooo much fun!!! Congratulations on selling your house and good luck with the move. May it be effortless. You've inspired me to actually plan and hold the greyhound Christmas party I've been contemplating.

  6. You guys must be living right to get a contact that quickly. Good luck in your move to the new home and as Mad Rad Hare suggested, make sure your new home has a "Top Shot" vantage point!

  8. What! I didn't think it was possible to sell a house for the asking price within a week. It had to be all those magical greyhound vibes. Congratulations! Can't wait to see your new digs. Oh no, the Green Egg! If you ever meet my husband you must tell him that that is a terrible thing. Otherwise, there goes my collar money. Do it for Freedom, Casper & Nikki.
