Stanley Waits for Dinner

Usually when I get dinner ready, the kids, whether mine, boarders or fosters are there to personally assist me to make sure I don’t forget their bowl. Then there is Stanley. He takes lazy to a new level. Sometimes, he just peers over the couch.
Daddy, is dinner ready yet?

  1. Oh Stanley you have beautiful eyes. I'm sure daddy didn't forget anyone, especially you.

  2. Sometimes you have a LOT of boarders, it must be easy to forget one. Stanley, you are an expert in the field of laziness :)

  3. Stanley, I don't think you are lazy, I think you are showing TRUST because you know you'll be fed too!

    I like your eyes!

  4. We are not so patient at our house! We all get excited and Bailey barks while Mom & Dad are getting the bowls ready and barks till his on his mat!

  5. Jeff is usually in the kitchen, but Sid is that lazy, and usually waits in his bed until the dish is put in the stand. Actually, he got used to being given his food in his bed while recovering from corn surgery, and often waits (with sad, soulful eyes) until he is absolutely sure we aren't going to relent and bring it to him.

Stanley is so beautiful. I do love those dark-ringed eyes, and he's as cute as only greyhounds know how!

  7. Ha ha ha! Stanley, I like your style! And why get off the couch when you know they will bring it to you?

  8. Stanley is so polite (as well as handsome!) and secure in the knowledge that you will personally serve his meal :) I wish I could say the same for Asher who not only personally supervises meal preparation, he also helps himself to any of my meal that I am careless enough to leave within his reach on the countertop. Tonight it was approximately 1/3 of the 2 chicken breasts I had cut up waiting to be stir fried ... guess he wanted dessert!

  9. Ziva lays on one of the kitchen rugs waiting for you to serve her. Pippi and Cueball stay close by monitoring the situation.
