Ms. Lena

Our latest foster is Ms. Lena. She’s a tiny little thing. I think she could walk under Kelli. She’s a spunky girl looking for a good home. She was returned from her original foster family for possible behavioral issues. But like many times before, they miraculously don’t manifest once they’re at our house. She’s been with us for a couple of weeks, and has settled in nicely. Even chewing on the deer horn.
Stinkeye and play bow at the same time.
Doing the dinner dance. Much more effective than the rain dance. When she dances like this, dinner miraculously appears.
Who wants an after dinner belly rub? Tail going ‘thwap thwap’ on the carpet.
Time for a nap with Kevin.
Too lazy to hold her own bully stick.
Can someone light this funny smelling cigar for me?

Posing on the deck with a leaf. She just loves being outside.

  3. I'm thinking that for a greyhound, going to you alls house is like going to greyhound heaven. I mean...you have Kevin! Ms. Lena looks like a character. I hope she finds the perfect family. Until then, she's in a pretty sweet spot.

  5. She's beautiful! The 'too lazy' picture reminds me so much of my Renie who was also a brindle, though not tiny. I hsve several pictures of Renie chewing things flat on her side, and one of her sound asleep like it, with a fluffy duck still between her jaws!

What possible behaviour issues could she have had that disappeared like that? Lack of understanding, maybe?

  6. She looks like a little darling AND she can multitask :)
Pity I can't have her, we would do well with an undersize Greyhound who loves everybody. I'm sure you will soon find her a home.

  8. I do like them tiny! :-) Funny how she doesn't look small in her pictures... but then neither do Riley and Seven. Everyone just thinks Maddie is huge and she is just normal sized. :-)

  10. What a sweetie! I love the dinner dance :) Glad her behavioural problems have vanished at your place. I'm sure the perfect home can't be far away for Ms Lena. And then there is Kevin, he's such a hunk!

  11. She would get along great with Ziva! Ziva would rather be outside most of the time. Hope she finds a great forever home.

  12. I suspect that you taught her how to misbehave at a new home so you will get her back!

  14. Do greyhounds actually have behavioral problems? O.o No, don't tell me. I don't want to know.

I'm sure they do, but at the groom shop I work at I just LOVE getting one because every single one I've ever met has always been a perfect angel.
