Goodbye Mr. Greyson

I am sad to say that we lost Mr. Greyson last week. He had a good 16 years with us. He was healthy up until the very end.
We were worried how he would settle in to the new house by himself without Isabel. But he really came out of his shell. He would stand at the front door and watch the world go by.
He even ventured out into the yard. With so many greyhounds going through the house, we had to start closing the door, which defeated the purpose of having a doggie door.
He also loved sitting on the couch where he could see everything. Can you tell there is catnip in that bag?
He even allowed the dogs to share the couch with him.
He was a good kitty. We will miss him. Not sure if the dogs will miss getting hissed and swatted at.

  1. Farewell, Mr. Greyson. There is a special, very good place in heaven for kitties that have to live in doggie-dominant houses. My deepest sympathy to all who loved this special boy.

  5. What a beautiful cat Mr Greyson was, he looks very happy in his new home with his canine brothers and sisters. Getting hissed at is a small price to share a couch :)
Say hello to Dylan for me.

  6. Lovely and loving Mr Greyson. Those dogs might think you are gone, but your hissing and swatting will be missed, and the training you gave them will stay with them.

  8. Mr Greyson looks like an amazing cat. It's so good that he had a happy and healthy long life with you all. It's probably the most we can hope for with our animals but doesn't always work out that way. Farewell Mr Greyson. You are loved and missed.
