Kris took some video on her iPhone of Jaime after breakfast using the doggie door, coming down the stairs, and hopping down the ramp. Our doggie door is in the storm door. The main door is closed when we are not around, so no critters can get in or out.
After finishing her business, she’s comes up the ramp, and handles the stairs with ease. Stanley wonders what the big deal is.
She has recovered from the surgery so well! What a little trooper with a giant heart! I hope that you caught the cancer early enough for us to enjoy her for a lot longer.
ReplyDeleteClever girl. So glad she is doing well.
ReplyDeleteWow, look at her go! She is doing so well, it doesn't look like the missing leg has slowed her much. What a strong girl.
ReplyDeleteShe looks great! I am so glad she is getting around so well. :-)
ReplyDeleteShe is doing so well! Your stairs and ramp are perfect for her, what great parents she has :)
ReplyDeleteDip is jealous, she asks why she can't have a ramp for the back door - even though the step is 2 inches high.

I love they way she glances at her Mom as she heads down the ramp. Seems as if she's saying, "What? No big deal, Mom. See? I got this."
ReplyDeletePlease give her kisses from me and Those Brindle Kids -
Jaime looks like there is no problem at all! I hope she is feeling as good as she looks.

Reminds me of my own tripawd. We're Team Jamie all the way!
ReplyDeleteOh, bless her! She IS doing well!! I'm so pleased to see her so happy and agile.
ReplyDeleteTell Stanley we hope he never has to find out what the big deal is. ;)
She's moving like a pro!! I really like the sound of her gait on the wooden steps and ramp. It sounds like a horse cantering. She is certainly lucky to have such wonderful parents in you two!
