Dental & Dana's Birthday

Kelli likes to do zoomies in the house. Sometimes on the bed. How do I know it was her that did this?
She left her signature behind. Her favorite bone. The deer antler.
Proud of her work, she takes a nap in a pool of sunlight.
Parker introduces Kelli to his perennial winter favorite. The poopsicle.
Stanley didn’t want to join in. His mouth was hurting from a couple of extractions during his dental.
The hippo was soft and plush, so he used it to hold his head up.
Trina brought her kids over on the weekend. Dana, did you know it’s your birthday? You’ve reached the big One Three.
Aunt Kristen made you a pumpkin cake.
Dana blows out the candles.
With the candles blown out, Parker sees no reason not to help himself to the entire cake.
Dana get hand-fed by her mommy.
If you make cake, they will come.

Hanging out till the cake runs out.

Kelli's Snow Day

Daddy, what is this white powdery stuff? We didn’t have it in Florida.
I took a big whiff, and it doesn’t really smell like anything.
But it’s making me feel frisky.
Like I’m a big flying squirrel.
Like I’m a crazy kangaroo.
It’s Zoomie time!

Ok, I’m done. Better get out my way. I’m heading back in.

Stella Watercolor

I received a nice little surprise in the mail. It’s a watercolor of Stella from Lynne at Dip Dip and Bridge. Thank you so much. We love it. Stella’s personality shines through.
It is from one of my favorite pictures of Stella.
It will look very nice on the wall next her sister Jaime.

On a sad note, Trina’s Cali was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, and is now a Tripaw. She is recovering well. Please send warm thoughts her way.

Christmas Boarders

We’ve been trying to keep our boarding to a minimum, but that rarely works during the Holidays. Hence the 11 bowls of food.
Feeding was spread throughout the house.

Here are 8 of them in the living room.
Sooie needed extra roughage in her diet.
The only extra that Belle needed was stuffing. Poor gorilla.
Most of the time, the kids were just laying around. Buck takes nap time seriously.
Sunny looking all cool with one paw hanging out.
Blue says he can do even better.
Parker liked to lay in his little bed behind the couch, where he wasn’t likely to get run over.
Jenny doesn’t like her daddy taking pics of other girls, and decides to photobomb this pic of Abby.
Outside the weather was unseasonably warm. So Buck decides to play a little soccer.
Jenny thinks it’s more fun to chase deer. One deer is visible on the far left about 3/4 of the way up.
By the time the rest of the crew showed up, the deer were long gone.
I wonder if it was the same deer that was swimming away from the hunting dogs earlier in the pond behind the house. The joys of living out in the country during hunting season.
Beau says he still smells them. They went thataway.
After all the fun outside, time to go in for a nap. Belle wishes she has thumbs to open the sliding door.

Beau refuses to learn how to use the doggie door.
Now we're back to just our four, and the house is calm and quiet.
